Does the rent cover additional costs like utilities?
The monthly rent usually only covers the property itself. Services such as electricity, water, gas, and internet are often billed separately. Always review the listing or reach out to confirm what’s included.
What paperwork do I need to rent a property?
To submit an application, you’ll typically need a government-issued ID, recent proof of income (or a guarantor’s financial details), and possibly a work or study document. Specific requirements may be outlined in the property details.
How much time does it take to hear back about my application?
Responses to rental applications usually take a few days to a week, but this depends on the landlord’s process and the demand for the property. Be sure to check your email for updates or additional document requests.
Is it possible to adjust the rental price or conditions?
In most cases, landlords set fixed prices and conditions, but it never hurts to ask! Discussing details like longer leases or minor adjustments might be an option depending on the landlord.
What should I do if I have to move out before the lease ends?
If you need to leave early, you might be asked to find someone to take over your lease or pay a fee for breaking the contract. Check your rental agreement for details and talk to your landlord to explore your options.
Welcome to our home! We offer a warm and welcoming room for rent in a homestay environment. Our house is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, making it an ideal choice for students or working professionals seeking a comfortable and cozy living space. The room is spacious and bright, furnished with all the basic necessities for a pleasant stay. It includes both heating and air conditioning, ensuring your comfort throughout the year.
The room features a small kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator and a private bathroom, providing you with the privacy you need. Everything in the room is brand new, giving you a fresh start in your new home. Tenants will also have access to shared spaces such as the kitchen, fostering a sense of community among residents. Please note that this room is available for female tenants only.
The rental terms are straightforward. The monthly rent is €550, exclusive of utilities, with a deposit of €1,000 required. The room will be available from 1st February 2025, and we are looking for someone who can commit to an indefinite rental period. If you're interested, feel free to ask the landlord about scheduling a viewing.
As for the ideal tenant, we are looking for one person aged between 21 and 45 years, who is either a student, a working student, or someone who is currently employed or looking for a job. The landlord, Ruud, speaks Dutch, English, and German, making communication easier for a diverse range of tenants. Unfortunately, pets are not allowed, and male roommates are not accepted. We look forward to welcoming you to your new home!
