Does the rent cover additional costs like utilities?
The monthly rent usually only covers the property itself. Services such as electricity, water, gas, and internet are often billed separately. Always review the listing or reach out to confirm what’s included.
What paperwork do I need to rent a property?
To submit an application, you’ll typically need a government-issued ID, recent proof of income (or a guarantor’s financial details), and possibly a work or study document. Specific requirements may be outlined in the property details.
How much time does it take to hear back about my application?
Responses to rental applications usually take a few days to a week, but this depends on the landlord’s process and the demand for the property. Be sure to check your email for updates or additional document requests.
Is it possible to adjust the rental price or conditions?
In most cases, landlords set fixed prices and conditions, but it never hurts to ask! Discussing details like longer leases or minor adjustments might be an option depending on the landlord.
What should I do if I have to move out before the lease ends?
If you need to leave early, you might be asked to find someone to take over your lease or pay a fee for breaking the contract. Check your rental agreement for details and talk to your landlord to explore your options.
From March 1st, a delightful room will be available in our serene yet lively residence on the Noordereiland. This cozy abode is shared with two friendly guys, aged 25 and 27, both of whom are professionals. While we each lead our independent lives, we cherish moments of camaraderie, whether it's a casual table tennis match in the living room or simply lounging together on the couch. We are on the lookout for a sociable individual, ideally someone who is either working or about to complete their studies, and who navigates a bustling life in and around Rotterdam.
The room itself is 12m² and comes furnished with a bed, a spacious closet, and potentially a desk, all of which can be purchased from the previous tenant at a reasonable price. The true gem of our home is the expansive living room, equipped with two comfortable sofas, a stunning TV, a dining table perfect for gatherings, and even a table tennis table. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the balcony offers ample space for relaxation. Additionally, the top floor houses a bathroom with a luxurious bubble bath and a laundry room complete with a dryer.
Our location is incredibly convenient, with Rotterdam Blaak just a 7-minute bike ride away and a Jumbo supermarket right around the corner. Despite its proximity to the city center, the area offers a tranquil living experience by the water, a rare find so close to the hustle and bustle of Rotterdam.
The rent is set at €625 per month, excluding utilities, with an average additional cost of approximately €80 for gas, water, electricity, and internet. If you or someone you know is interested in joining our friendly household, please send us a warm message. We look forward to potentially welcoming you soon!
